Uses

Gravinate injection (Dimenhydrinate vital) is a medicine used to treat and prevent nausea, vomit, and dizziness that i9s caused by the motion sickness when the medication is injected into the body. Ensure that this injection should not be used in newborns because of the increased risk o side effects.

Dosage

For adults

Daily intake: 50-100 mg two or three times a day.

For children 

Not recommended to children under one year old.

For 1-6-year-old: 12.5-25mg two or three times a day

For 7-12 years old: 25-50 mg two or three times a day

For injection intake

For adults

50mg every 4-hour, maximum of 100mg every 4 hour  

For children

Above 1 year: daily intake: 1.25 or 37.5mg 4 times a day.

Side effects

You might experience any of these side effects when taking this medicine.

If any of these side effects gets worsen or persist, then consult a doctor immediately.

When not to use

Consult your doctor before using this medicine because this medicine contains active ingredients. So if you are allergic to hypersensitive diphenhydramine or if you have any other allergies, ask your doctor first.

Also not advised to patients with an overactive thyroid gland, closed-angle glaucoma, high B.P, Blockage of the urinary bladder and enlarged prostate, and pressure in the eyes.

•  Those who are hypersensitive to dimenhydrinate should consult their doctor before intaking this medicine. This product may have ingredients that cause an allergic reaction in the body and result in allergies.

•  Take the first dose 1 hour before any energy-consuming activity such as travel.

•  This medication is passed into the breast milk, so consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

•  Tell your doctor if you have any medical history related to breathing issues, high pressure in the eye, high B.P, heart problems, liver disease, problems related to the stomach intestine, and more.
