Uses
Diclofenac Potassium Oral is used to relieve pain, swelling,
inflammation, and joint stuffiness caused by arthritis. This medicine reduces
the symptoms and heal your pain, and helps you do more of your daily
activities. This medication falls into the category of nonsteroidal
anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID.)
The medicine treats muscle aches, Dental pain, sports
injuries, and menstrual cramps. This medicine also reduces the symptoms and
helps you do more daily activities. This medication falls into the category of nonsteroidal
inflammatory drug (NSAID.)
Dosage
Take this medicine with a mouth with a full glass of water
unless your doctor recommends you another way.
After taking this medicine, don't lie down for 10 minutes at least. Your
stomach may get upset, but talk this medicine with food, milk antacid.
Directly swallow this medicine, don't crush, chew or break
the table while eating. Doing so will eliminate the protective layer's coat
over the medicine and will result in causing side effects.

Make sure you tell your doctor about all the prescribed and
non-prescribed drugs that you are using with this medicine. To minimize this
medicine's side effects (like Stomach bleeding), use the medication at the
lowest dose for the shortest possible length.
In some instances, this medicine may take up to 2 weeks of
regular use.

When not to use
No advised to those patients who are known hypersensitive to
severe skin reactions and anaphylactic reactions or diclofenac or any drug
components.

Precautions
• This medicine will make you sensitive to the
sun, so try to limit your time under the sun. Try to avoid sunlamps and tanning
booths when using this medicine. Make sure you use sunscreen and wear
protective clothing when you are outdoor. Consult your doctor immediately if
you have any skin blisters/ redness.
• If you are pregnant, please discuss with your
doctor before intaking this medicine.
• This medicine passes into breast milk, so make
sure you consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
• If you have any allergies to aspirin or NSAIDs,
or any other allergies, then please consult your doctor before using this
medicine.
• Drugs to avoid: This medicine may
interact with antidiabetic agents, cyclosporin, quinoline agents,
methotrexate.
