Uses

Tresorix Forte syrup is used for post-infection anorexia, habitual vomiting, retardation in growth. It’s a syrup with vitamin antihistamine which increases the appetite.

Tresorix Forte syrup increases the fatty acid metabolism and allows the body to use the energy more efficiently. It also helps in maintaining a nitrogen balance and help the body to conserve the calcium

 Tresorix affects multiple metabolic processes and it’s important for the formulation of hemoglobin.

Dosage

Take this medication by mouth.

If you are using this medicine syrup, make sure you shake the bottle well before use. Refrigerating the medicine might improve the flavor of the syrup.

For adults

The recommended oral solution dosage is 2 teaspoonfuls of 5ml before every meal i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

For children

Up to 7 years: The recommended dosage is 5ml daily, distributed two times.

For 7 to 12 years old: One teaspoonful of 5ml before every meal i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

Side Effects

Here are some of the side effects, you might experience when taking this syrup

• Dry mouth, nose, throat.

• Drowsiness

• Blurred vision

• Dizziness

• Constipation

If any of these side effects gets worsen, or persists, tell your doctor right away.

When Not to Use

It is not advised to those patients, who are hypersensitive to its components or to those patients who have glaucoma, predisposition to urine retention, or newborns.

Precautions

• Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if you have any allergies, as this syrup contains some inactive ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction in your body and other problems.

• Before using this medication, discuss with your doctor if you have a medical condition and medical history especially, related to breathing problems (like asthma, emphysema). high pressure in the eye (glaucoma), heart disease, High Blood pressure kidney disease, seizures, overactive thyroid, difficulty in urinating because of the large prostrate.

• The medication, dosage is based on your age, medical condition, and response to treatment. In children and infants, that dosage and medication length are also dependent on body size and weight.

• Don’t increase or decrease the medication dosage, more than the recommended amount.

• This medication in passes into the breast milk, so if you are nursing an infant consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

• If you are pregnant, discuss with your doctor before taking this medicine.
