Uses
The Lowplat Plus tablets are used to treat and prevent blood clots if you have chest pain, a heart attack, stroke, or peripheral artery disease (poor circulation in your legs).
This medicine is also used to prevent the atherothrombotic event that is the sudden formation of plaque leading to the blood cut in the patients suffering from heart attack occurring within less than 35 days.
This medicine is also used in combination with aspirin to treat the non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome- heart disorder.
Dosage
The dosage is based on your doctors recommendation and your treatment response.
For Adult
The general recommendation is 75mg per day.
Dosage for blood flow reduction
Adult

Initial dose: 300 mg of a loading dose.
Dosage for heart attack

When not to use
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitive allergy to anaphylaxis, clopidogrel, aspirin, or any other medicine ingredient.

Precautions
• Before you take Lowplat tablets, consult your doctor if you are allergic to the medicine or any other salicylates, or other pain relievers or fever reducers (NSAIDs like naproxen, ibuprofen) or if you have any other allergies. This product contains inactive ingredients that might cause allergic reactions and other problems in your body. Consult your doctor for more information
• Before having any treatments and process, you should let your doctor know you are taking clopidogrel or aspirin. Before the procedure, you might need to stop taking this medicine to prevent bleeding.
• This drug might pose a risk to your pregnancy, so consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
• This medicine can cause fatal severe bleeding. Aspirin may take your bruise and bleed more easily have the nosebleeds, and it takes longer than usual to stop the b bleeding.
• This medicine is not advised to use if you have certain medical conditions; before using the medicine, consult your doctor if you have bleeding clotting disorders (haemophilia, vitamin K deficiency, and low platelet count.)
