Uses
Zyrtec formulated as cetirizine is an antihistamine that reduces and prevents natural chemical histamine in the body. The histamine tablet is used to relieve the allergy symptoms of runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, hives, itching, and itching nose or eyes. The tablets relieve your worst allergy symptoms.

Dosage
If you are using chewable tablets, chew each tablet and then swallow. If you are eating a rapid dissolve tablet, then allows the medicine to dissolve in the moth over the tongue and then swallow the medicine. You can create this medicine with or without water. If you are using a liquid form of medicine, make sure you measure the dose carefully by using a measuring spoon or device and then taking the right amount of dose carefully.
For adults and children ages more than 6 years old
One 10mg tablet daily, dont take more than 10mg, i.e., 1 tablet in 24 hours. A 5mg product may be appropriate for less severe symptoms.
For adults who are 65 years and above

Patients with kidney or liver disease
Based on your doctors recommendation.
Side effects
Here are the side effects that you might experience when you are taking Zyrtec tablets:
- • Tiredness
- • Dizziness
- • Dry mouth
- • Stomach pain (especially in children)
If any of these effects worsens or persists, let your doctor know immediately about your condition.
When not to use
Not recommended to patients who are diagnosed with urinary retention and narrow-angle.

Precautions
- • Before taking cetirizine dihydrochloride, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to the ingredients or levocetirizine or the hydroxyzine or any allergies that might pose an allergic reaction medicine, then discuss with your doctor before. This product may contain some inactive ingredients that cause an allergic reaction in your eyes.
- • Your medical condition and treatment response determine the dose and duration of treatment. Do not change the dose of your medication without consulting your doctor.
- • Before you use this medicine, let your know if you ever had any medical history especially related to difficulty urinating (such as the enlarged prostrate), liver disease, and kidney disease.
- • If you are pregnant, dont intake this medicine without discussing it with your doctor.
- • This medicine passes into the breast milk, so consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are nursing an infant.
