Skilax Drops formulated as Sodium Picosulfate is used to treat and prevent irritable bowel syndrome, specifically constipation. The Skilax drops are a stool softener that makes your colon ease up a little bit so that you can defecate easily. This medicine increases the amount of water intake in your stool, and also, this medicine makes it easier for stool to pass.
This medicine is primarily used to relieve constipation.
How to use
The dosage and length of treatment are based on your doctors recommendation. Dont increase or decrease the dosage without consulting with your doctor.
For adults
10-15 drops per day.
For infants (2-5 years)
2-3 drops once daily.
(6-10 years)
2-3 drops once daily.
According to the symptoms and age, the dosage of medicine might be adjusted under the medical service. While you are using these drops, make 6 – 8 glasses of water to stay hydrated.
Side effects
