Uses

Novidat suspension syrup is used in the prevention and treatment of severe viral, bacterial infections. This syrup is only effective in specific strains of bacteria such as respiratory tract, genital tract infection, a urinary tract in both women and men. This syrup also helps prevent and treat intra-abdominal infections, soft tissues, joints, and bone infections.

This medicine is also used to treat kidneys and lungs. The class to which this medicine belongs is ciprofloxacin.

Dosage

For Adults

Novidat suspension syrup is given two times a day, one in the morning and the other one in the evening, with a gap of 10- 12 hours.

For children

The doctor will recommend the dose for your child based on your condition of your children.

Side effects

Here are some possible side effects that you might experience when using this medicine. These side effects are not necessary to appear while using this medicine.

If you get to experience any of these symptoms getting worsen, then consult your doctor immediately.

When not to use 

Those who are sensitive to ciprofloxacin or similar antibiotics like Quinolones should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Don’t intake this medicine with milk or any dairy products or with any calcium-containing products.

This medicine will make you sensitive to the sun, so you’ll have to limit yourself to the sun. Consult your doctor if you get sunburned, skin burnt, skin blisters/ redness.

Take this medicine concerning your medical history, such as alcohol abuse, liver problems, and more so. Make sure you consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
